Task-related software application training

Q-DAS provides specific software application training for different target groups based on Q-DAS software products. These training courses include classical hands-on seminars and the education of product experts, but also training for software administrators enabling them to maintain and manage Q-DAS software.
Q-DAS never stops enhancing their software products to best support users in their individual tasks. The software application training we offer perfectly suits specific tasks or user groups.

This course will review fundamental statistics and introduce the user to unique aspects of the Q-DAS statistical philosophy. The user will learn various software options and how to use the software most efficiently. This will include creating new files and editing existing data. Viewing of basic graphics (such as value charts, histograms and control charts) and the production of printed reports shall also be demonstrated and practiced.

procella is the main Q-DAS shop-floor application for the collection of data and viewing process control charts. The normal use of procella in industry entails linking the data-entry PC to a gage system through an RS-232 interface and to qs-STAT through a database. This course will instruct the user on how best to configure this setup. qs-STAT can be used to define and set the evaluation that procella uses. This will be demonstrated as well.

This course provides the Local System Administrator as well as key user with an understanding of elements of the Q-DAS core software applications.  It also talks about how different Q-DAS software communicate with each other and is used interchangeably. 

Topics will include data flow, installation types, database creation and updates.  We also talk about data format and basic database Upload Configurations. Also covered, basic system wide configurations such as Q-DAS Catalogs, Ribbons, Alarm Configurations and User Management.
