NEW RELEASE: Q-DAS 14.0.2.

Higher accuracy - improved resource allocation

With this release, we have added a host of new features and enhancements, all designed to save time, reduce cost and increase performance. We want to make it easier for customers to match features to their manufacturing needs.
Sharing critical results from quality measurements in the team to make faster production relevant decisions is now possible with the new reporting tool in PLV.
The current requirements of VDA 5 are integrated in 14.0.2. A PPAP reporting template, according to VDA Volume 2.6, is also implemented.
Get to know more about the about the most significant functionalities and usability improvement of the latest release:

VDA5 Enhancements

Combining uncertainty evaluation with gauge studies

In the new Q-DAS release 14.0.2., in Solara, it is possible to perform a VDA 5 study, bringing together an uncertainty-based approach, which involves uncertainty budgets and conformance limits, with the widely used Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) procedures such as gauge R&R studies.

Implementation of Kendall’s evaluation

An additional feature has been implemented, the Kendall’s evaluation to evaluate ordinal characteristics with a test decision with reference or without reference.

Web-based enhancements

We have improved our web applications in terms of reporting and in terms of better customisation to customer needs, offering an even better usability and performance.

PLV enhancements

Dedicated data aggregation engine
To further boost the performance of our web solutions such as Plant Viewer, a dedicate engine has been implemented for data aggregation.

Report editor enhancements
The PLV Report Editor has been enhanced, where users can create customisable reports with multiple charts in the same page regarding the quality status of the different plants, departments, workshops, lines and/or production machines, of different time periods, to share them as PDF or link with other people or use them as template of a report to review with updated data anytime.

RTM customisation that suits your needs

Customisable setting as number of measured values Real Time Monitoring allows customers to monitor the parts and characteristics trends and status based on last part measured on a specific machine or to monitor a specific part, now it is possible to define the number of values to display.

EMPB -VDA2.6 PPAP

In the new Q-DAS version (14.0.2.1), an additional PPAP report template has been implemented in accordance with VDA volume 2 6th edition. Additional new changes have been made to improve the User Experience during the generation of these reports and new fields have been added to allow the user to enter data in the PDF file.

Form designer enhancements
To increase the flexibility during the creation of new reports, new additional fields have been added in Form Designer, like the dropdown window where user can set a list of selection, checkbox to allow user to select an approval or rejection or result and a free text window for manual input of the users in the PDF reports.

  • Extensions

The following functionalities are a perfect extension to Q-DAS eMMA:

Q-DAS eMMA Analyst is a flexible and versatile module for the analysis of measurement results. Using statistical key performance indicators (KPIs), it provides insights that enables you to have better control over prototyping, launch, ramp-up and production processes.

Q-DAS eMMA Planner is a module created to facilitate the management of inspection plans for both single parts and assembly structures.

    Learn more

Generating quality reports for thousands of parts can become a time consuming and cumbersome task. Although report templates have been adopted as a technique to reuse part of the design work, the creation of such templates still requires a great deal of time as well as experienced users in the use of template generation tools.

    Learn more

Q-DAS eMMA Inspector is a module specially designed to support the easy and fast analysis of large sets of optical measurement results. The rich 3D native environment enables users to smoothly explore and interact with the data as they identify and compare regions of interest. Likewise other eMMA modules, eMMA Inspector also supports both PDF documentation and interactive on-the-fly 3D analysis.
